Keith heads the firm’s Infrastructure, Construction & Engineering Practice and regularly advises and acts for owners, main contractors, and sub-contractors in arbitrations and applications pursuant to the Security of Payment Act.
Whilst Keith’s practice has a focus on the construction industry, Keith also has substantial experience handing a wide range of contentious matters including company and shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, and insolvency litigation.

Some notable matters which Keith has been involved in include:
- Acted for the Liquidator of group of companies linked to Ng Yu Zhi who is facing numerous criminal charges over his alleged involvement in a nickel trading scam (reported in [2025] SGHC 52)
- Advised a client in a dispute with Samsung C&T Corporation in relation to a construction project in Singapore valued at S$60.1m.
- Advised a client in a dispute valued at RM355.84m relating to a joint venture with one of the largest oil palm and rubber plantation companies in Malaysia.
- Acts as the litigation consultant for Singapore to a Chinese telecommunications company that is one of the publicly traded red chip companies.
- Acted for a creditor with a claim in excess of S$16m (reported in [2024] SGHC 127 which was the judicial manager’s application to extend the judicial management of the debtor company)
- Acted for a client in claims in excess of US$36m brought by its joint venture partner, Carlsberg A/S, for alleged breaches of multiple agreements (reported in [2022] SGCA(I) 2 and [2021] SGHC(I) 1)
- Acted for a client in an international arbitration in claims valued in excess of S$1b relating to joint venture with an internationally recognised listed beverage company;
- Acted for a client in an international arbitration in claim for US$4m for breach of agreements executed in Thailand and subject to the law of Thailand;
- Acted for a private equity investment firm that focuses exclusively in Real Estate investments within the Asia Pacific Region in an encroachment claim valued at S$3.7m.
- Acted for bunker barge owners, after the collapse of O.W. Bunker, to defend claims in excess of US$5m for alleged delivery of bunkers without production of bills of lading. (reported in [2021] 2 SLR 1054 and [2016] 3 SLR 128)
- Acted for a liquidated company against its Singapore-listed parent company in a dispute valued at S$13m.
- Acted for a senior executive and director against a company listed on the NYSE. The dispute was valued in excess of US$2m;
- Acted for a real estate development firm in a dispute relating to the sub-division of land in Australia valued in excess of A$3m.
- Acted for the accused person in the landmark 3-2 majority decision which determined the guiding principles to decide the appropriacy of the death penalty in future murder cases (reported in [2015] 2 SLR 112 and [2014] 1 SLR 973)
- Acted for the accused person in a matter which involved one of the first few applications of the discretionary death penalty in Singapore (reported in [2015] SGHC 107 and [2014] SGHC 13)
