Nadine Neo holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Singapore Management University and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021, having received a distinction in Mediation Advocacy in Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations. 

Her primary areas of practice are civil litigation and dispute resolution. She has been involved in a range of matters including commercial and corporate disputes, insolvency proceedings, intellectual property, employment and personal data protection issues.

Notable matters Nadine has been involved in include:

  • Acting for the liquidator of a company in the first reported Singapore decision on priorities for funding creditors under Section 204 of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018, in which the Court recorded its appreciation for the assistance of counsel (reported in Song Jianbo v Sunmax Global Capital Fund 1 Pte Ltd (in compulsory liquidation) [2023] 4 SLR 1575).
  • Acting for the defendant in a claim of approximately US$22 million concerning alleged cryptocurrency sale proceeds said to be owed to the claimant company (reported in BTHMB Holdings Pte Ltd v Kim Byung Gun [2023] 4 SLR 449).
  • Acting for a US-incorporated group of companies in a cross-border commercial dispute involving claims exceeding US$2.9 million, arising from the supply of defective KN95 facemasks (reported in Dialectic PR LLC and another v Brilliante Resources International and another [2024] 4 SLR 165).
  • Acting for a Singaporean company and its employees in defending a claim by a competitor involving allegations of copyright infringement, breach of confidence, breach of restraint of trade and conspiracy (reported in FirstCom Academy Pte Ltd v Oom Academy Pte Ltd and others [2025] SGHC 266).
  • Acting for the liquidator of a company in pursuing claims of approximately S$24.7 million arising from alleged breaches of directors’ duties and conspiracy by the company’s former directors.
  • Acting for Universal Group Holdings Pte Ltd in defending claims brought by two creditors of Hin Leong Trading following the latter’s collapse.
  • Acting for the liquidator of a company in pursuing a claim exceeding US$21 million, arising from the sale of three shipping vessels alleged to constitute a transaction at an undervalue under Section 224 of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018

In addition to her commercial practice, Nadine is actively involved in pro bono work. She regularly participates in the monthly Community Legal Clinic at the Queenstown Community Centre, where she advises members of the community on a pro bono basis.
