Hoon Yi Shyuan

Yi Shyuan graduated from the Singapore Management University and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2017.

Yi Shyuan began her legal career in civil and commercial litigation, before she transitioned into corporate practice, where she now focuses on corporate and commercial law and mergers and acquisitions. 

Yi Shyuan advises on a broad spectrum of private and public transactions, acting for founders, investors and corporates on both buy-side and sell-side mandates. Her experience includes cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and growth-stage investments, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and general corporate advisory matters. She regularly assists clients through the full lifecycle of transactions – from structuring and due diligence to documentation, negotiation and completion.

In addition to transactional work, Yi Shyuan provides ongoing corporate advisory support, including in relation to corporate governance, employment and personal data protection
